Barb Blain 2008 Recipient

The Bart Griffith award was initiated seven years ago.  Bart was a prominent and exemplary, preeminent educator and a retired professor of Missouri State University.  He was also one of our founding members. The club wanted to honor a member who exhibited initiative in forwarding the club's premises.  The club commissioned Joe Wannamaker to carve the award.  The chosen member should exhibit carving skill and knowledge of the club's goals. This member should also encourage new carvers and carving in general and promote the club.
